Here is my entry for the #sewunconventional challenge. This is not at all what I was thinking when it started. I didn’t know really what I wanted it to be but beautiful. I made a muslin base and started adding poofs of poly-fil and fake snow. I kept thinking this isn’t a garment but you know what it is, it’s a dress that will keep you very warm. @tabithasewer @lynnwardrobesews @sewingbloggers If there is an award for most tears shed during this project I believe I might win that one. When this first started the words that stuck with me were “out of your comfort zone” it sure as hell was. I made myself finish, made my inner critic shut up, made my 5 year old self happy. Thank you @stevensshots for the pictures and laughs. Thank ou @annie_mcmuffin for doing my makeup and letting me borrow your smaller 👑. Thank you @stagiworks for being my helper and pushing me. Thank you @sdjones1975 for listing to all my ideas and being there for me. I look forward to next year and challenging myself again.
